Field Service Engineer – Bremen Metropolitan Area

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations of medical equipment, with a focus on MRI and mammography systems.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues independently at customer locations.

• Address problems through remote diagnostics in the role of a Regional Online Engineer.

• Install and decommission medical systems or optional modules independently, in collaboration with project management.

• Accurately and promptly complete service reports, worksheets, maintenance records, and other necessary documentation.

• Engage in regular training on technical advancements, including opportunities for international training.

• Maintain tools, instruments, and testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration.

• Serve the service area that includes Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Hamburg, and Bremen.

• Assist the sales team in the ongoing expansion of the customer base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience in electronics as a certified electrician; experience in repairing, installing, and maintaining medical systems is preferred.

• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with commercial insight.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

• Proficiency in German and good command of English.

• Competent in MS Office and PC applications.

• Residency in the Bremen area is required.
