Field Service Engineer – Benelux, Netherlands, Flanders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct field service tasks including commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems throughout Germany and Europe.

• Engage in occasional assignments within other TOMRA Sorting business units and regions.

• Create comprehensive and high-quality service reports following installations, maintenance activities, and technical interventions.

• Ensure prompt and precise documentation of service activities, expenses, and other pertinent paperwork.

• Provide on-site training for customer maintenance and service teams as well as internal Service Engineers.

• Offer technical assistance by phone and address customer and equipment-related concerns in the field.

• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams by supplying technical expertise and support.

• Guarantee optimal performance and dependability of TOMRA Sorting systems.

• Carry out field service activities effectively with an emphasis on cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Alternatively, a technician certification or equivalent engineering qualification accompanied by relevant hands-on experience.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Additional language proficiencies, especially in Dutch or Flemish, are advantageous.

• Demonstrated technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• A structured and solution-focused approach.

• Ability to foster strong relationships with customers and colleagues across various countries, cultures, and business environments.

• Customer-oriented mindset with a high degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently across Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, with approximately 80% travel required.

• Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
