
Field Service Engineer β Benelux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
β’ Conduct field service operations, which include commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems.
β’ Serve customer locations throughout the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium.
β’ Regularly travel to customer sites to provide on-site support.
β’ Occasionally undertake assignments in other TOMRA Sorting business units and regions.
β’ Create comprehensive service reports following installations, maintenance tasks, and technical interventions.
β’ Accurately and promptly report service activities, expenses, and any other pertinent documentation.
β’ Provide on-site training for customer maintenance and service teams, as well as internal Service Engineers.
β’ Offer technical support via phone.
β’ Address customer and equipment-related issues directly in the field.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams by offering technical knowledge and assistance.
β’ Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of TOMRA Sorting systems.
β’ Carry out field service tasks efficiently, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely execution.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; alternatively, a technician certification or equivalent engineering qualification accompanied by relevant hands-on experience.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
β’ Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
β’ Proficiency in additional languages, especially Dutch or Flemish, is advantageous.
β’ Demonstrated technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
β’ A systematic and solution-oriented mindset.
β’ Capability to establish relationships with customers and colleagues across various countries, cultures, and business contexts.
β’ A customer-centric approach.
β’ High degree of professionalism and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, with approximately 80% travel required.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
β’ An updated CV in English.
β’ Position is home-based.
