
Field Service Engineer β Benelux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
β’ Conduct field service operations including commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems.
β’ Operate from a home-based location covering the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium.
β’ Frequently travel to customer locations, including assignments throughout Germany and Europe.
β’ Prepare comprehensive service reports following installations, maintenance tasks, and technical interventions.
β’ Accurately and promptly report service activities, expenses, and other pertinent documentation.
β’ Provide on-site training for customer maintenance and service teams as well as internal Service Engineers.
β’ Offer technical support via phone and address customer and equipment-related field issues.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams by sharing technical insights.
β’ Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of TOMRA Sorting systems.
β’ Carry out field service tasks efficiently, emphasizing cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely execution.
β’ A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; alternatively, a technician certification or equivalent engineering qualification paired with relevant hands-on experience.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
β’ Capability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
β’ Professional proficiency in English is required.
β’ Knowledge of Dutch or Flemish language is advantageous.
β’ Demonstrated technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
β’ A structured and solution-oriented mindset.
β’ Ability to foster strong relationships across diverse countries, cultures, and business environments.
β’ Customer-oriented approach.
β’ High degree of professionalism and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 80% of the time.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
