Field Service Engineer – Benelux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Carry out field service tasks such as commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems.

• Travel to client locations throughout the Netherlands, Flemish Belgium, Germany, and other parts of Europe.

• Occasionally undertake assignments in different TOMRA Sorting business units and regions.

• Create detailed service reports following installations, maintenance work, and technical interventions.

• Accurately and promptly document service activities, expenses, and other necessary paperwork.

• Provide on-site training to customer maintenance and service teams as well as internal Service Engineers.

• Offer technical support via phone and address customer and equipment-related field issues.

• Work in collaboration with Sales and Project Management teams by providing technical knowledge and assistance.

• Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of TOMRA Sorting systems while maintaining customer satisfaction.

• Execute field service operations effectively, prioritizing cost efficiency, quality, and timely execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; alternatively, a technician certification or equivalent engineering qualification with relevant hands-on experience.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Additional language skills, especially in Dutch or Flemish, are advantageous.

• Demonstrated technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• A structured and solution-focused approach to tasks.

• Ability to foster relationships with customers and colleagues across various countries, cultures, and business contexts.

• Customer-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium, with approximately 80% travel required.

• Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.

• An updated CV in English is required.
