Field Service Engineer – Benelux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Conduct field service operations, which include commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems.

• Serve customer locations throughout the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium.

• Engage in extensive travel to customer sites, with an estimated 80% travel commitment.

• Occasionally undertake assignments in other TOMRA Sorting business units and regions.

• Compile comprehensive service reports following installations, maintenance tasks, and technical interventions.

• Accurately report service activities, expenses, and pertinent documentation in a timely manner.

• Provide on-site training for customer maintenance and service teams as well as internal Service Engineers.

• Offer technical support via phone and address customer and equipment-related inquiries.

• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams effectively.

• Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of TOMRA Sorting systems.

• Carry out field service activities with a focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or a technician certification/ equivalent engineering qualification with relevant practical experience.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Additional language skills, especially in Dutch or Flemish, are advantageous.

• Demonstrated technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• A structured and solutions-oriented mindset.

• Capable of fostering relationships with customers and colleagues across diverse countries, cultures, and business contexts.

• A customer-centric attitude combined with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.

• Readiness to travel extensively within Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, with approximately 80% travel required.

• Legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.

• Current CV in English is required.
