
Field Service Engineer β Benelux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
β’ Engage in field service operations, including commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of TOMRA Recycling systems throughout Germany and Europe.
β’ Occasionally take on assignments in various TOMRA Sorting business units and regions.
β’ Prepare comprehensive and high-quality service reports following installations, maintenance tasks, and technical interventions.
β’ Ensure prompt and precise reporting of service activities, expenses, and other pertinent documentation.
β’ Provide on-site training to customer maintenance and service teams, as well as internal Service Engineers.
β’ Offer technical support via phone and address customer and equipment-related field challenges.
β’ Work closely with Sales and Project Management teams by sharing technical expertise and assistance.
β’ Guarantee the optimal performance and reliability of TOMRA Sorting systems.
β’ Carry out field service tasks effectively, emphasizing cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
β’ Alternatively, possess a technician certification or an equivalent engineering qualification along with relevant practical experience.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to elucidate complex technical concepts in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
β’ Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
β’ Additional language skills, especially in Dutch or Flemish, are advantageous.
β’ Demonstrated technical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
β’ Methodical and solution-oriented mindset.
β’ Capacity to forge strong relationships with customers and colleagues across diverse countries, cultures, and business environments.
β’ Customer-centric approach with a high degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
β’ Readiness to travel extensively throughout Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium to provide on-site customer support (approximately 80% travel).
