Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Develop strong relationships with customers and site personnel.

• Deliver professional and friendly customer service.

• Travel within the region to support customers, including occasional overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine statuses, and updates using digital tools and systems.

• Contribute to ongoing improvements by sharing feedback and enhancing technical knowledge.

• Adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• Uphold high safety standards.

• Ensure smooth operation of technology at customer locations following the initial roll-out phase until October 2027.

• A strong background in electro-mechanical systems, with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex machinery.

• A curious and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail.

• A customer-oriented attitude, accompanied by clear and confident communication abilities.

• Comfortable using power tools and hand tools both independently and as part of a supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• A valid full UK driving licence.

• Flexibility to work occasional approved overtime and weekends.

• Commitment to transitioning to a rota-based shift pattern that includes weekend coverage starting from October 2027.
