Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Install and commission sensor-based sorting equipment at client locations.

• Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks.

• Identify and troubleshoot technical faults.

• Train operators and maintenance personnel.

• Offer technical support to customers and resolve any technical issues they encounter.

• Foster strong customer relationships and represent TOMRA as a reliable technical partner.

• Prepare service reports and organize upcoming visits from a home-based setting.

• Deliver remote technical assistance between service visits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education in electrical engineering, automation, electronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.

• Prior experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning, or installation of machinery is advantageous, especially in a customer-site setting.

• SEP E and D electrical qualifications are a plus.

• Proficiency in Polish and good command of English.

• Strong IT skills, including a basic understanding of computer networks and PC configuration.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to cultivate strong, trustworthy relationships.

• Valid Category B driving license.

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations throughout Southern and Central Poland, as well as other regions of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the Baltic countries.
