Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at client locations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and rollout of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as necessary.

• Foster relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel across the South West region, including occasional overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine statuses, and updates utilizing digital systems and tools.

• Provide feedback and engage in continuous improvement efforts.

• Uphold high safety standards at all times.

• Support TOMRA's mission to enhance recycling infrastructure for the UK Deposit Return Scheme.

• Strong background in electro-mechanical systems.

• Enthusiasm for analyzing, testing, and repairing intricate equipment.

• Inquisitive and solution-driven mindset.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Customer-oriented approach.

• Clear and confident communication abilities.

• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based role.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Capability to adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• Availability for approved overtime and weekend work.

• From October 2027, readiness for a rota-based shift pattern that includes weekend coverage.
