Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer locations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines across the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and site contacts.

• Deliver professional and friendly customer service.

• Travel throughout the region to support customer needs.

• Accurately document service activities, machine status, and updates using digital tools and systems.

• Provide feedback and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.

• Enhance technical knowledge while adhering to high safety standards.

• Comply with TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• A robust understanding of electro-mechanical systems, with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex equipment.

• A curious and solution-focused mindset, with a keen eye for detail.

• A customer-centric approach, with effective and confident communication skills.

• Ability to work with power tools and hand tools both independently and as part of a supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• A valid UK driving license.

• Availability for occasional approved overtime and weekend work.

• From October 2027, flexibility for a rota-based shift pattern including weekend coverage.

• Readiness to travel throughout the region, including occasional overnight stays.
