Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at various customer locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively.

• Perform preventative maintenance and address reactive repairs as needed.

• Develop and nurture relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel within the region, including occasional overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine status, and updates utilizing digital systems and tools.

• Provide feedback and participate in initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• Ensure safe, reliable equipment operation while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Possess a curious and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong attention to detail.

• Exhibit a customer-centric approach, along with clear and confident communication skills.

• Have a foundational understanding of electro-mechanical systems, with a keen interest in learning to analyze, test, and repair complex equipment.

• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

• Flexibility to travel and manage your schedule effectively in a field-based position.

• Valid UK driving licence required.

• Willingness to work occasional approved overtime and weekends.

• Openness to transitioning to a rota-based shift pattern, including weekend coverage starting from October 2027.
