Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer locations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Foster strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel across the region, with occasional overnight stays as necessary.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital tools and systems.

• Provide feedback and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Uphold high safety standards while ensuring reliable equipment performance.

• A curious and solution-driven mindset, with a keen eye for detail.

• A customer-centric approach, accompanied by clear and confident communication abilities.

• A foundational understanding of electro-mechanical systems, coupled with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex equipment.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger, supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• A valid UK driving licence.

• Capability to adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• Willingness to occasionally work overtime and weekends as approved.

• From October 2027, availability for a rota-based shift pattern that includes weekend coverage.
