Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at client locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve both mechanical and electrical problems.

• Execute preventative maintenance and conduct reactive repairs.

• Foster strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel across the region, including occasional overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital platforms and tools.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide constructive feedback.

• Adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• Contribute to a positive customer experience, ensuring equipment functions safely and reliably.

• Background in electro-mechanical systems, with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex machinery.

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a broader, supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Availability to work occasional approved overtime and weekends.

• Weekend coverage on a rota-based shift pattern starting October 2027.
