This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily servicing and maintenance of customer EV charging stations.

• Identify and resolve issues related to electrical systems, hardware, software, and networks.

• Perform repairs, including the replacement of defective parts and components.

• Assist with installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, upgrades, and warranty-related tasks.

• Offer remote technical support to customers and field teams as necessary.

• Keep precise service records, daily logs, and track company vehicle mileage.

• Oversee and replenish spare parts inventory.

• Work collaboratively with technical, engineering, and customer service teams.

• Support service and maintenance agreements while ensuring compliance with response times and service standards.

• Ensure that all work is performed safely in accordance with company protocols and applicable electrical and EV charging standards.

• Participate in an on-call rotation, approximately once every five weeks, from Monday to Monday, as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical support or field service engineering position.

• Demonstrated experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.

• Proficient in using a multimeter and conducting continuity tests.

• Practical, hands-on approach with confidence in using tools.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both customers and colleagues.

• Valid FULL MANUAL UK driving licence.

• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

• No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence.

• Experience in the EV charging, automotive, clean energy, or electrical engineering sectors is preferred.

• Prior experience with charging infrastructure or similar electrical devices is advantageous.

• Experience providing remote technical support is a plus.

• Previous involvement in an on-call or out-of-hours support rotation is a benefit.

• Relevant engineering qualifications or technical training are highly desirable.
