Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at client locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and rollout of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as needed.

• Foster strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel within the region, including occasional overnight stays when necessary.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital systems and tools.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement by providing feedback and enhancing technical knowledge.

• Uphold high safety standards at all times.

• Provide a professional customer experience while ensuring that equipment operates safely and reliably.

• A curious and solution-driven mindset, with a keen attention to detail.

• A customer-centric approach, paired with clear and confident communication skills.

• A background in electro-mechanical systems, along with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex machinery.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage one’s own schedule in a field-based position.

• Valid full UK driving license.

• Adhere to established safety protocols, including TOMRA Safe and LOTO standards.

• Flexibility for occasional approved overtime and weekend work.

• Availability for a rota-based shift pattern, including weekend coverage starting from October 2027.
