Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing TOMRA sorting systems

• Executing service assignments at customer locations throughout Germany and Europe

• Analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues in electrical and electromechanical systems

• Assisting in the integration and testing of new systems

• Training customers, service personnel, and maintenance staff on-site

• Offering technical assistance via phone and during on-site visits

• Collaborating closely with the Sales, Project Management, and Technical Support teams

• Documenting service activities and compiling service reports

• Ensuring high equipment availability and customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field

• Alternatively, completed technician training combined with relevant professional experience

• Strong understanding of fault analysis and troubleshooting for technical systems

• Passion for technical challenges and hands-on problem-solving

• Independent and methodical work approach

• High willingness to travel (approximately 80%) within Germany

• Enjoyment in working with customers and international teams

• Proficiency in German and good written and spoken English

• Valid Category B driving license

• Located in Northern Germany, preferably in the Hamburg, Hanover, or Rostock area
