Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning, maintenance, repair, and optimization of our TOMRA sorting systems

• Conducting service visits for customers in Germany and throughout Europe

• Analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues in electrical and electromechanical systems

• Assisting with the integration and testing of new systems

• Providing training for customers as well as on-site service and maintenance staff

• Offering technical support via phone and during on-site visits

• Collaborating closely with the Sales, Project Management, and Technical Support teams

• Documenting service visits and creating service reports

• Ensuring high system availability and customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field

• Alternatively, a completed technician training combined with relevant professional experience

• Strong expertise in fault analysis and troubleshooting of technical systems

• Passion for technical challenges and hands-on problem-solving

• Independent and organized work approach

• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) within Germany

• Enjoyment in working with customers and international teams

• Fluent in German and proficient in written and spoken English

• Class B driving license

• Residing in Northern Germany, preferably in the Hamburg, Hanover, or Rostock area
