Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing TOMRA sorting systems

• Executing service assignments at customer locations throughout Germany and Europe

• Analyzing and rectifying technical faults in electrical and electromechanical systems

• Assisting with the integration and testing of new systems

• Training customers as well as on-site service and maintenance teams

• Offering technical support via phone and during on-site service visits

• Collaborating closely with Sales, Project Management, and Technical Support teams

• Documenting service activities and preparing service reports

• Ensuring high system availability and achieving customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field

• Alternatively, completed technician training coupled with relevant professional experience

• Strong expertise in fault analysis and troubleshooting of technical systems

• Passion for technical challenges and practical problem-solving

• Independent and organized work approach

• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) within Germany

• Enjoyment of engaging with customers and working in international teams

• Proficient in German and possess good written and spoken English skills

• Valid Class B driving licence

• Residing in Northern Germany, preferably in the Hamburg, Hanover, or Rostock region
