Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Effectively carry out field service tasks to achieve cost and time targets.

• Ensure the optimal functionality of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer support operations.

• Execute installations and modifications on TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Deliver thorough training to clients on the operation and maintenance of TOMRA Food systems.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up actions.

• Offer customer service through commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair activities, primarily in France.

• Travel within the country up to 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education at the BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in French.

• Capable of understanding spoken and written English, with a minimum B2 proficiency level.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with some international travel or flexible working hours.

• Solid knowledge of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
