Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Execute field service tasks effectively to achieve cost and time goals

• Ensure the optimal functionality of TOMRA Food sorting machines

• Identify and rectify equipment problems and perform repairs

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer support procedures

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food equipment

• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance

• Keep precise and thorough field reports for administrative follow-up

• Offer commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair services primarily within France

• Travel domestically up to 80% of the time

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training at BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline

• Proficient in French

• Capable of understanding spoken and written English (minimum B2), which is essential

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours

• Strong grasp of IT, networking, and PC configuration

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
