Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Install and set up sorting machinery at client locations

• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting tasks

• Educate operators and maintenance staff

• Offer technical expertise and remote assistance to customers as required

• Act as a reliable partner representing TOMRA in the field

• Prepare for client visits from a home office

• Complete service documentation and update technical records

• Assist clients in the Rennes area and throughout Brittany and neighboring regions

• Occasionally provide support to colleagues and clients in other parts of France

• Execute preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and service tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification (BAC+2 or equivalent) in Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a related field

• Practical experience in electrical fault diagnosis and electromechanical troubleshooting

• Proficient in French

• Ability to effectively communicate in English within a technical and professional context

• Previous experience in Field Service, on-site maintenance, commissioning, installation, or mobile technical support roles is highly preferred

• Demonstrated experience in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on industrial equipment in customer-facing settings

• Solid understanding of IT systems, networking basics, and PC setup

• Strong customer service orientation and capability to establish trustworthy relationships

• A valid driver's license is required
