Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Efficiently deliver field service work to achieve cost and time objectives.

• Ensure the optimal operation of TOMRA Food sorting machines while surpassing customer expectations.

• Identify and resolve equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer support processes.

• Install and adjust TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Provide training to customers on the operation and maintenance of systems.

• Maintain precise and thorough field reports for administrative follow-up.

• Travel domestically up to 80% of the time, primarily within France.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training equivalent to BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• Fluent in French.

• Capable of understanding spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial customers.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.

• Strong understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to establish and nurture effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
