Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Install and set up sorting equipment at customer locations

• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting tasks

• Educate operators and maintenance staff

• Provide technical support to customers

• Act as a reliable partner for TOMRA in the field

• Prepare for client visits from a home office

• Fill out service reports and revise technical documentation

• Offer remote assistance when necessary

• Assist customers across Brittany and surrounding areas

• Occasionally help colleagues and clients in other regions of France

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification (BAC+2 or equivalent) in Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a related field

• Practical experience in electrical fault diagnosis and electromechanical troubleshooting

• Proficient in French

• Capable of effective communication in English within a technical and professional context

• Prior experience in Field Service, maintenance at customer sites, commissioning, installation, or mobile technical support roles is highly advantageous

• Demonstrated experience in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on industrial equipment in client-facing settings

• Solid understanding of IT systems, networking basics, and PC setup

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to cultivate trusted relationships

• Valid driving license required
