Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct field service tasks effectively to achieve cost and time goals

• Ensure the optimal functioning of TOMRA Food sorting equipment

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer support operations

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food machinery

• Educate customers on system usage and maintenance

• Keep precise and comprehensive field reports for administrative tracking

• Provide commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair services primarily in France

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, or Industrial Maintenance

• At least 4–5 years of experience in the food industry or field is essential

• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, assisting industrial clients

• Strong knowledge of IT, networking, and PC setup

• A valid driver's license is required

• Capability to build and sustain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management

• Readiness to travel internationally for a minimum of 80% of the time, including weekends and holiday seasons
