Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service work efficiently to achieve cost and time targets.

• Ensure the optimal functionality of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and resolve equipment problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer support processes.

• Execute installations and adjustments to TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Offer thorough training to customers on the operation and maintenance of TOMRA Food systems.

• Keep precise and detailed field reports to assist with administrative follow-up procedures.

• Primarily support customers within the designated region, with occasional assistance in other areas of France.

• Operate from customer locations and work from home when on-site visits are not scheduled.

• Travel approximately 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training at BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• Proficient in French.

• Capable of understanding spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Willing to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with potential for international travel or flexible working hours.

• Strong knowledge of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Possess a valid driver's license.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
