Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Efficiently deliver field service work to achieve cost and time objectives.

• Ensure the optimal operation of TOMRA Food sorting machines.

• Diagnose equipment issues, resolve them, and carry out necessary repairs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer support processes.

• Perform installations and adjustments of TOMRA Food equipment.

• Provide training to customers on system operation and maintenance.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive field reports for administrative follow-up.

• Primarily support customers within the designated region, with occasional service across other areas of France.

• Spend approximately 80% of your time at customer sites, working from home when no visits are scheduled.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education equivalent to BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French.

• Minimum B2 level understanding of spoken and written English.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with some international travel or flexible working hours.

• Strong knowledge of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
