Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service work efficiently to meet both cost and time objectives.

• Ensure the optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, performing necessary repairs as needed.

• Collaborate with internal departments to improve customer support processes.

• Conduct installations and adjustments of TOMRA Food equipment when required.

• Provide thorough training to customers on the operation and maintenance of TOMRA Food systems.

• Maintain accurate and detailed field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up procedures.

• Support customers primarily within the designated region, with occasional assistance in other areas of France.

• Operate from customer locations and work from home when customer visits are not scheduled.

• Travel approximately 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education at the BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in French.

• Ability to understand spoken and written English (minimum B2 level); this is essential for the role.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting industrial clients.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.

• Strong understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
