Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service work efficiently to achieve cost and time targets.

• Ensure the optimal functioning of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer support processes.

• Carry out installations and adjustments to TOMRA Food equipment as necessary.

• Offer thorough training to customers on system operations and maintenance.

• Keep precise and detailed field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up procedures.

• Provide support to customers mainly within the designated region and occasionally in other areas of France.

• Divide time between customer locations and working from home when site visits are not scheduled.

• Travel approximately 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training at BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in French.

• Ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level), which is essential for this position.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.

• Solid understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
