Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Efficiently perform field service tasks to achieve cost and time targets.

• Ensure the optimal functioning of TOMRA Food sorting machines.

• Identify and address equipment problems while executing repairs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer support procedures.

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food equipment.

• Educate customers on system usage and maintenance practices.

• Keep precise and thorough field reports for administrative follow-up.

• Offer commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair services primarily in France.

• Travel domestically up to 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education equivalent to BAC+2 in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in French.

• Capable of understanding spoken and written English (minimum B2 level), which is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with potential for occasional international travel or flexible working hours.

• Solid understanding of IT, networking, and PC setup.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
