Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Efficiently perform field service tasks to achieve cost and time targets.

• Ensure optimal functionality of TOMRA Food sorting machines.

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and carry out necessary repairs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer support procedures.

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food equipment.

• Provide training to customers on the use and upkeep of TOMRA Food systems.

• Keep precise and comprehensive field reports for administrative follow-up.

• Travel domestically up to 80% of the time.

• Primarily assist clients within the designated region, with occasional support in other areas of France.

• Divide time between customer locations and remote work when no visits are scheduled.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education equivalent to BAC+2 in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French.

• Ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level).

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with possibilities for occasional international travel or flexible working hours.

• Strong knowledge of IT, networking, and PC configuration.

• Valid driver's license.

• Capability to build and sustain effective relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
