This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Deliver expert installation, maintenance, and repair services for advanced analytical and microscopy equipment.
• Provide technical support for cutting-edge technology.
• Foster and sustain customer relationships with research institutions, universities, and industrial facilities.
• Address intricate hardware and software challenges.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Educate users to guarantee optimal system performance.
• Analyze and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Attend to urgent customer requirements.
• Operate in laboratory and cleanroom settings as necessary.
• Travel 25–50% to client sites.
• Advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating advanced analytical instruments.
• Preferred areas of study include Electronics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Continuous technical training and certifications are mandatory.
• Proven expertise with ultra-high vacuum systems, high voltage electronics, and complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving capabilities for hardware and software challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to cultivate positive customer relationships.
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Capability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, networking, and standard business software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 25–50%.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory settings.
• Experience in mentoring and training others is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously while ensuring strong collaboration within a team.
• Availability to respond to urgent customer requests.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and be capable of working in cleanroom environments when necessary.
