This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment, such as incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, and related instruments.
• Identify electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration problems utilizing schematics, service documentation, diagnostic software, and testing equipment.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience through prompt communication, technical expertise, and reliable service.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and uncover opportunities for additional products and services.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge through product training, safety initiatives, and industry updates.
• Oversee daily service operations by scheduling customer appointments, replying to customer inquiries, completing field service reports, ordering parts, and maintaining precise service documentation.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A technical certificate, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment is preferred.
• Capability to troubleshoot electromechanical equipment using electrical schematics, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, temperature measurement devices, and pressure gauges.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in communicating technical information clearly to both customers and colleagues.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and service management software.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing learning.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
