This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Execute on-site field service activities, which encompass installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and removal of sophisticated temperature control equipment.
• Install, test, service, and calibrate equipment to meet operational specifications and fulfill customer expectations.
• Identify and resolve intricate technical challenges while offering recommendations and solutions to both internal teams and customers.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine service tasks.
• Assess product performance and assist with modifications, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Act as the primary on-site representative, fostering strong customer relationships.
• Ensure services are in accordance with contract stipulations, timelines, and expectations.
• Coordinate technical services, logistics, provisioning, and system configurations efficiently.
• Keep and review equipment logs to spot trends and determine necessary repairs.
• Travel to various customer locations, with travel requirements of up to 50%.
• Represent Advanced Thermal Sciences, a division of RTX-owned Collins Aerospace, in supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Generally necessitates a University Degree and less than 2 years of relevant prior experience.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and servicing complex temperature control equipment.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office 360 and standard desktop applications.
• Excellent customer-facing communication abilities and a knack for building relationships.
• Preferred experience in supporting or servicing industrial/commercial refrigeration systems.
• Preferred experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical control systems, including PLCs.
• Hands-on experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical systems in field service or industrial settings preferred.
• Universal EPA certification is preferred.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by applicable regulations.
• Must be willing to support travel requirements of up to 50% to customer sites.
