Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Serve the customer base throughout the Benelux region, offering support to the broader Benelux-Nordics area as necessary.

• Execute field service tasks as directed by Customer Care in collaboration with the Service Leader.

• Install, maintain, and repair the current and upcoming portfolio of Life Science/Diagnostics instruments.

• Provide initial onsite training for users on Life Science and Diagnostics systems.

• Organize routine maintenance on a monthly basis.

• Ensure that service documentation, circuit diagrams, Service Data Bulletins, and manuals are up-to-date and accurate.

• Maintain additional documentation in compliance with the Quality Management System.

• Align work practices with departmental performance goals and demonstrate adherence to compliance standards.

• Keep records of service spares and inventory, reporting and addressing any discrepancies.

• Ensure that tools and testing equipment are sufficient and calibrated as per schedule.

• Complete Work Orders and related documentation within one day of task completion.

• Submit e-learning and expense claims punctually.

• Carry out assigned tasks as outlined in the Goal Statements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant educational background or equivalent experience (e.g., a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Biotechnology).

• Experience in a customer service setting, ideally with applications in Diagnostic and Life Science instruments.

• Effective communication skills.

• Strong commitment to customer service.

• Willingness to travel, with the possibility of occasional overnight stays away from home.

• A valid full BE/NL driving license is required.
