Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain Packsize equipment solutions at customer locations.

• Coordinate tasks at customer job sites.

• Diagnose issues utilizing technical drawings and documentation.

• Execute regular maintenance and emergency services.

• Familiarize with customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications.

• Conduct start-up testing.

• Educate customers on the usage and maintenance of Packsize solutions.

• Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers.

• Share information and ideas with both Packsize and customer personnel.

• Prepare and submit expense reports.

• Arrange travel logistics.

• Draft comprehensive technical reports.

• Comply with Packsize and customer safety standards and protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong focus on customer service.

• Proficient in Windows platforms.

• Effective use of hand tools.

• Knowledgeable in mechanical platforms.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Associate's Degree, Vocational Training, or equivalent experience.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Capability to travel by vehicle or airplane within the country.

• Willingness and capacity to frequently lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.

• Must be able to navigate inside and outside equipment, warehouses, and office spaces, and position oneself to work on the equipment.

• Must regularly operate hand and power tools, computers, and other office equipment.

• Ability to occasionally climb or descend a ladder to reach elevated areas on the equipment.

• Availability for on-call duties.

• Frequent overnight travel is required.
