This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Install, commission, and set up equipment in alignment with the requirements of the company and its customers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to guarantee optimal performance of equipment.
• Identify and diagnose issues related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components and parts as necessary.
• Respond swiftly to service calls and customer support inquiries.
• Accurately document all service activities, maintenance records, and repair reports.
• Offer technical training and operational guidance to customers and end users.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and sales teams to address complex issues.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and suggest improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage service tools, test equipment, and spare parts inventory effectively.
• Travel frequently to customer locations as required, with approximately 90% travel expected.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent military background.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in industrial settings for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
• Capability and readiness to travel internationally on an as-needed basis.
