This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide support to customer sites across the Pacific Region as required
• Offer service and repair assistance for GE OEC Surgical C-Arm equipment
• Diagnose, install, maintain, and repair assigned equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and adhere to Field Modification Instructions
• Manage ordering and repair parts cycle times
• Keep customer service logs and internal service records updated
• Communicate with customers on a daily basis to ensure issues are resolved and followed up
• Maintain and calibrate tools and testing equipment
• Comply with Health and Human Services, environmental health and safety, and other regulatory standards
• Oversee vendors’ service delivery processes in accordance with GE Healthcare policies
• Address customer service issues and perform root-cause analysis as necessary
• Engage in sales opportunities, including contract renewals and revenue initiatives
• Deliver effective service to accounts within the designated territory
• Train clinical staff on the use of designated equipment when necessary
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military training, or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment
• Alternatively, 3 years of relevant experience coupled with successful completion of the GEHC Field Service Engineer Apprentice Program
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED and 12 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment
• Proven experience working with internal team members and external customers in a solution-oriented service process
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting and addressing customer issues
• Six Sigma training/certification is preferred
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States
• GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas
