This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute intricate installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on GE Precision Healthcare MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine systems.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues utilizing schematics, service manuals, diagnostic tools, and remote support systems.
• Deliver on-site technical assistance and training to clinical staff and customers.
• Oversee a designated service territory, prioritizing service calls, scheduling appointments, and completing service documentation.
• Maintain an inventory of parts and tools.
• Comply with GE Precision Healthcare quality standards, as well as FDA and ISO regulations, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, applications, and engineering teams to address customer issues and enhance product initiatives.
• Engage in technical training and development programs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service and prompt resolution of requests.
• Finalize service reports, timecards, expense reports, and customer feedback documentation.
• Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience; bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in field service engineering, ideally with healthcare imaging or diagnostic equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and mechanical systems.
• Strong comprehension of digital imaging technologies and networking principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in using service tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned service territory, including overnight stays when necessary.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 lbs and work in various clinical settings.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory compliance standards is advantageous.
