Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Respond to daily service repair needs for customer equipment.

• Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

• Conduct service and maintenance tasks at client locations.

• Support, maintain, repair, and refurbish both sold and existing products.

• Execute preventive and remedial maintenance services.

• Oversee maintenance facilities and field service engineering operations.

• Keep all modality-specific models updated in the designated area.

• Diagnose intricate multi-symptom issues in electronic, mechanical, electrical, and IT systems.

• Communicate daily with doctors, radiographers, and biomedical engineers regarding equipment status.

• Ensure the satisfaction of primary customers.

• Support account sales visits and provide training where necessary.

• Identify and relay sales opportunities to the account team.

• Assist in driving business growth and direction within the assigned region.

• Manage costs related to Warranty, Installation, and PMS contracts.

• Complete administrative duties, FMI documentation, and PMS inspection documentation punctually.

• Lead intricate and multifunctional room installations.

• Share best practices and uphold quality systems in accordance with GE Service Quality Policy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2–5 years of field service experience in the healthcare sector or a similar industry.

• Experience addressing technical inquiries for Radiology/Imaging equipment such as MR, CT Scans, Angiography, Molecular Imaging (PETCT, SPECT), Radiopharmacy, or various X-ray types.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• High sense of accountability and ownership regarding customer concerns and responsibilities.

• Openness to learning new techniques.

• Excellent customer service capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to relocate permanently to Southern Sumatera.
