Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on XR/CT/NM medical equipment.

• Provide service for medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems located in southern Illinois and Missouri.

• Ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services to patients.

• Maintain customer relationships while offering timely communication, resolution, and follow-up.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols.

• Meet all regulatory and compliance standards.

• Document all activities performed, including parts ordering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, military education, or high school diploma/GED with over 6 years of experience in servicing electrical equipment.

• More than 2 years of experience in servicing imaging equipment.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not an option.

• Successful completion of GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.

• Adherence to customer access policies, which may include required immunizations and possible additional drug tests or background checks.

• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and sit and stand for extended periods.

• Skill in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level, flexing or extending the neck, and demonstrating good hand and finger dexterity.

• Willingness to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
