This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct prompt and precise preventative maintenance on medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare facilities.
• Diagnose, repair, and install moderately complex equipment.
• Act as the primary contact for customer communications and address customer concerns, including during installations.
• Manage customer issues from initial dispatch or identification to final resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to create suitable solutions for customers.
• Oversee installations, validations, maintenance, and service repairs for designated equipment.
• Utilize customer relationships to support customers and drive service sales, enhancing contract and on-demand revenue growth.
• Foster customer relationships and ensure timely communication, resolution, and follow-up.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, hospital protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Record all daily work performed, including debriefing, metrics, and parts ordering.
• Suggest value-added services to customers and/or sales teams.
• Employ GE HealthCare escalation processes and work with regional and national support on corrective action plans.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent military training with 4 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment, OR a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
• A valid driver's license is required and must be maintained.
• Proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Suite products.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness to be available after hours and/or participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Capability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend the neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.
