This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Travel to customer locations to deliver professional services that enhance reliability initiatives and mitigate unplanned downtime.
• Assess machine alignment, gather condition monitoring data, and commission/install hardware.
• Organize travel arrangements to and from client sites as needed.
• Prepare equipment for various assignments.
• Engage with clients and provide professional services on-site.
• Keep track of expenses and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Generate service reports and additional documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date information in the company database.
• Offer both remote and on-site product training for clients.
• Collaborate with customer support/services, marketing/sales, and management teams.
• Mentor other field engineers in the solutions provided.
• Perform additional duties related to the role of a Field Service Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Prior experience in service, maintenance, or a technical role is necessary.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%-85% of the time, primarily within North America, with some potential for international travel.
• A valid Driver’s License is required (a Passport is recommended).
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Salesforce, and CAD software.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs of equipment, climbing stairs and ladders, donning/doffing PPE and fall protection gear, and working in challenging manufacturing environments.
• Strong proficiency in English communication skills, including writing, speaking, and reading.
