This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.

• Deliver exceptional and efficient service to Beckman Coulter clients.

• Offer technical training on products.

• Keep precise customer service logs and internal service documentation.

• Order repair components and comply with cycle time requirements.

• Utilize OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning service calls and advancing team objectives.

• Interact with both internal and external customers at various levels, addressing their specific needs.

• Support the training of new Field Service Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related field is preferred, or equivalent military experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting complex systems.

• Willingness to travel 100%, which includes some overnight stays, within the designated territory or locations.

• Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, sit/stand for extended periods, reach at/above/below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.

• Over 3 years of advanced troubleshooting experience is advantageous.

• Experience in building relationships with internal and external customers is a plus.
