Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert field service support for Molecular Devices products within the designated territory.

• Execute installations, service repairs, and preventative maintenance for Molecular Devices instruments.

• Provide prompt, high-quality, on-site troubleshooting and maintenance services for bio-analytical measurement and research equipment.

• Gain expertise in supporting Molecular Devices products.

• Manage assigned customer service inquiries, repairs, installations, preventative maintenance, and OQ schedules.

• Analyze and resolve issues using critical thinking and implement appropriate solutions.

• Assist customers in enhancing disease detection, drug discovery, and therapeutic development.

• Report to the EU Central Field Service Manager as a member of the Field Service team.

• Travel on a weekly basis, primarily within the BeNeLux region, with occasional trips for training and to support other service teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in a comparable role.

• Strong mechanical, electronics, and electrical expertise and knowledge.

• Experience with assembly-level fault detection and testing.

• Customer-oriented with effective communication skills.

• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of issues from start to finish.

• Willingness to travel, with a minimum utilization of 80%.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Reside in the Netherlands and have convenient access to an airport for international travel.

• Previous experience in IT, computer, and network management would be advantageous.

• Experience with diagnostics and repairs of Cellular Imaging Products would be beneficial.

• Prior experience in a laboratory environment would be a plus.
