Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Provide service for Beckman Coulter products at customer locations.

• Build and nurture customer relationships while supporting commercial initiatives.

• Act with urgency to promptly address customer needs.

• Focus on achieving first-time fixes through effective problem-solving.

• Enhance throughput, reduce downtime, conduct preventive maintenance, and execute upgrades.

• Represent the interests of both internal and external customers.

• Report directly to the District Service Manager within the Life Sciences Service Organization.

• Serve the regions of New England, upstate New York, Quebec, parts of Ontario, and the Maritimes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science, or equivalent military experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in problem-solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting instrumentation issues.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% by flying and/or driving, including overnight stays.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise, or place up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, sit, squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs, and reach with hands and arms.
