Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Acquire in-depth knowledge and establish yourself as the subject matter expert for Flow Cytometry instruments, specifically Clinical Cell Analyzers and Research Cell Analyzers.

• Offer both field-based and remote technical assistance to customers and colleagues.

• Execute preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs, and corrective field change orders on Flow Cytometry equipment.

• Identify electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software, and laser failures using established procedures and methodologies.

• Evaluate cost-effective repair options or solutions to minimize downtime.

• Conduct instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).

• Oversee car stock and ensure that essential spare parts and tools are readily available.

• Handle technical escalations efficiently.

• Strive to meet service metrics established by the Service Organization.

• Travel to and from customer locations daily.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or extensive relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer.

• Possession of a full US driving license.

• Currently residing within a daily commutable distance of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

• Knowledge of IT systems.

• Experience in Flow Cytometry is advantageous.

• Background in the Telecoms, Robotics, Automation, and Medical Devices sectors.

• Capability to absorb knowledge across various multi-modular and diverse product ranges.

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

• Capability to lift 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work in a standing position for extended periods.

• Flexibility for evening work as required by job duties.
