Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s imaging products.

• Travel to customer locations as needed.

• Install and commission imaging equipment along with related ICT/electrical equipment.

• Maintain and service imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment effectively.

• Ensure products are functioning properly and performing optimally.

• Act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and its customers.

• Guarantee customer satisfaction and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

• Collaborate with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre on service, maintenance, updates, and installations.

• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company property.

• Process spare parts in accordance with established policies.

• Enhance knowledge of colleagues and customers through continuous learning and improvement.

• Foster relationships and teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify and escalate any situations that may affect customer satisfaction or contractual commitments.

• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to accomplish organizational objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science, or engineering; or equivalent qualifications gained through extensive experience.

• Ideally, previous experience in field service with similar responsibilities.

• Strong IT competency.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of Networking Infrastructure.

• Valid full UK driving license.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

• Ability to comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and work procedures.

• Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
