Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and installation on environmental protection equipment.

• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards, client specifications, and safe working practices.

• Foster a robust safety culture and provide a professional service.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site.

• Assist in the installation, decommissioning, and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.

• Perform daily tasks safely, precisely, and efficiently.

• Prepare scopes of work, risk assessments, and method statements.

• Operate company vehicles and equipment as needed, ensuring qualifications are met.

• Conduct site surveys and contribute to estimates and client proposals.

• Accurately complete job documentation and submit paperwork within agreed timelines.

• Collaborate with Operations teams to deliver practical solutions that align with client needs and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of single- and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.

• Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

• Familiarity with separator and interceptor systems is advantageous.

• Understanding of relevant industry standards and best practices is a plus.

• Knowledge of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

• Experience in preparing, issuing, and completing RAMS documentation.

• Flexible with working hours and travel commitments.

• Ability to respond to emergency tasks as required.

• Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

• Capability to prepare clear and concise reports.

• Possession of a full UK driving license.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Willingness to undertake further training and enhance technical skills.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671 certification is desirable.

• Level 2 or 3 electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ or equivalent is preferable.
