Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance, servicing, and installation of environmental protection equipment.

• Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards, client specifications, and safety protocols.

• Foster a robust safety culture while delivering professional services.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site.

• Assist in the installation, decommissioning, and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.

• Ensure daily tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

• Prepare scopes of work, risk assessments, and method statements.

• Operate appropriately qualified company vehicles and equipment.

• Conduct site surveys and aid in estimates and client proposals.

• Accurately complete job documentation and submit paperwork within agreed timelines.

• Collaborate with Operations teams to support customer sites and deliver practical solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of single- and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

• Familiarity with separator and interceptor systems is advantageous.

• Awareness of relevant industry standards and best practices is beneficial.

• Knowledge of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

• Experience in preparing, issuing, and completing RAMS documentation.

• Flexible attitude towards working hours and travel.

• Ability to respond to emergency work when necessary.

• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

• Capability to generate clear reports.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Willingness to undergo further training and enhance technical skills.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671 certification is desirable.

• Level 2 or 3 electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ or equivalent is advantageous.
